ALLMI crane training is an industry-recognised certification for lorry loader (HIAB) operators, slingers and supervisors. It is designed for anyone involved in lifting operations who needs to demonstrate competence and compliance with current regulations.
ALLMI certification is not a legal requirement in itself. However, it is a strict legal requirement under UK Health and Safety law that any person operating a lorry loader (HIAB) must be trained and competent. ALLMI is widely accepted across construction and logistics sites as evidence of operator competence and compliance with lifting regulations and site safety requirements.
Yes, at S J Messenger Haulage, we deliver ALLMI training for new operators as well as refresher courses for experienced drivers who need to renew or update their certification.
ALLMI certification is typically valid for five years, after which operators are required to complete refresher training and re-assessment to maintain certification and compliance. Once you have completed training, you will receive both a physical identity card and a certificate that states the expiry date and the specific categories of lorry loader you are qualified to operate.
