Our Fleet

  • 2 8-Wheeler Rigids
  • 20 Drawbars / 6-Wheeler Rigids

Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question that is not covered here? Contact Our Team

Do you provide national haulage services across the UK?

Yes, at SJ Messenger Haulage, we deliver reliable national haulage services across the UK. With a fleet of over 70 vehicles, we transport materials and goods between sites efficiently. This helps us support businesses with both one-off movements and ongoing haulage contracts.

What types of loads can you transport nationwide?

We handle a wide range of loads, including bulk materials, palletised goods and construction-related freight. Our experienced drivers and modern fleet ensure safe, compliant transport nationwide.

How do you ensure driver competence and operational safety?

To ensure compliance and safety, all of our drivers complete structured induction, one-to-one shadow training and ongoing refresher programmes. As an ALLMI-accredited training centre, we ensure lifting operations and site deliveries are carried out safely and compliantly.

How do you maintain fleet reliability across national operations?

To maintain fleet reliability, we have established our in-house engineering division: Messenger Maintenance. This division provides full repair and service support for our own fleet as well as haulage operators across the region.

What level of delivery performance can customers expect?

Our commitment to reliability and delivery performance is reflected in our On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) performance over the last five years. We have consistently achieved 97–98% OTIF performance, reflecting disciplined planning, clear communication and our commitment to delivering exactly what has been agreed with our customers.
